ITINERARY: RICKOID REUNION ON THE LEFT COAST
MORRO BAY, CALIFORNIA -- JANUARY 27 – 29, 2006

FRIDAY EVENING JAN. 27
5:00 PM (and later) Check in to Kim's and/or your hotel or camping accommodations.
8:00 PM - Rickoid Dinner at a cozy restaurant in Morro Bay (join us for dinner and settle in to your accommodations afterward if just arriving)

SATURDAY BREAKFAST JAN. 28
Continental goodies and coffee, Kim's house.
SATURDAY MORNING JAN. 28
Kayaking (main activity) ... Cost is $10 for single or double-person kayaks. No need to reserve in advance.
Alternative Activities: Shopping, walks on the beach, hiking, sleeping in
SATURDAY LUNCH
Lunch or a picnic in Morro Bay, plan for a cost of $5 to $10.
SATURDAY AFTERNOON JAN. 28
Main Activity: Wine Tasting via Rickoid caravan.
We'll plan to visit 3 or 4 Central Coast wineries. Cost is about $15 per person for wine tasting fees; designated drivers are needed!
Alternate Activity: Tour of Hearst Castle

Those interested will need to buy tickets and carpool.
Tickets available online for $20, reservations recommended.
Other Alternate Activities: Hiking, shopping, Farmer's Market, playing cards in the guest house, it's up to you!
SATURDAY DINNER JAN. 28
Depending on the size and preferences of the group, Kim may serve dinner at her house, or we may go out for dinner in Morro Bay, plan for $15-$20 per person. Bring appetizers, snacks, and games to share for late-night activities at the guest house and/or Kim's house.

SUNDAY BRUNCH JAN. 29
We'll probably be up late Saturday night, so a lot of people may be sleeping in on Sunday. You can bring your own groceries to eat at the guest house or explore Morro Bay's charming breakfast eateries ... $10-15.

LODGING COSTS
The first 4-8 people to respond get to stay for free at Kim's house. Kim has three 2-person, queen-sized accomodations and two 1-person beds (that are in the same room). After those accomodations are spoken for, you may choose from Morro Bay's many accommodation options:

Morro Bay State Park
Hotels:
The closest hotels to Kim's house are the Best Western El Rancho and the Holland Inn.

Respond to the evite. when you respond, please specify how many people and which type of accommodations you prefer (Kim's house, hotel, or campiing). If staying at Kim's, please note how many of which type of beds you would prefer.
